Twice a year Chai4ever plans a special trip for all their families, many of whom will have no other opportunities for fun, due to financial and other considerations. You really cannot imagine what a difference these trips make to these kids and their parents. They provide a spot of pure joy in the midst of difficult situations.
Unfortunately, this year’s trip has not yet been scheduled. The reason is simple: a summer packed with programs to give these families some rest and enjoyment, together with a heartbreaking increase in the number of families needing Chai4ever’s help, has left their resources depleted. They simply cannot afford to book a venue and arrange snacks, transportation, and all the other necessities of a Chol Hamoed outing.
