I especially like this camp because it represents true love for Klal Yisroel. A lot of times just doing what someone needs is very nice and helpful, but it doesn’t show that extra love and caring. Here at Chai4Ever we give the kids that extra caring and support. A lot of the campers on paper are “perfectly normal” but only a caring person has the heart to realize what a kids going through if the mother is sick at home, if the father is working extra to pay for the expenses, if the family does a rotation making dinner every night, if the vibes in the air are lonely and sad when every time that 5th grader comes home from school asking if “mommy got any better”… We can all imagine the home… I’m here to help kids that come from those homes and I hope your here to help them also!!
These kids need us, they might not show it the entire year, they might not be open about it, but let’s be real, they need all the positivity and support and fun a kid could imagine.

Children with a seriously ill parent have it rough. They deal with the realities of disease on a daily basis. They live with a constant fear of Mommy or Daddy leaving them. They need to act like adults in helping their parents cope. These children need the break that summer camp provides, and the chance to laugh, run and play like "normal" children. Their parent's catastrophic illness and the resulting financial distress leaves families unable to afford summer camp, just when it is needed most. This unique camp program gives these kids a reprieve from a challenging home situation, restores their spirits and renews their strength to persevere!
I am determined to ensure that every child that can benefit from Camp4ever!'s program will have the opportunity to do so.
